Curated Clicks: Where in the World Is Luke Skywalker?

WHERE IN THE WORLD IS LUKE SKYWALKER?
The new “Star Wars” trailer broke the Internet this week and had many fans wondering where J.J. Abrams has hidden Mark Hamill.
Via The Federalist:
The trailer had a huge missing element, however: Luke Skywalker. He does not appear in the trailer. He is not on the poster. Even in the first trailer, he only appears as a voiceover, repeating what he told Leia in “Return of the Jedi.” I’m starting to wonder if he’s already dead and Mark Hamill was brought back to consult, throw the fans off the story, and perhaps to appear as a Luke ghost to Leia.
That is hard to say, because the trailer did not tease the story. J.J. Abrams has written something completely different than fans expected. The books of the Extended Universe, which had told the stories after “Return of the Jedi,” have been disavowed. In this blank slate, someone still commands Stormtroopers and TIE fighters even though the Rebels defeated the Emperor and Vader at the end of “Return of the Jedi.”

HILLARY CLINTON TESTIFIES ON BENGHAZI TOMORROW
The Daily Signal breaks down the who, what, where, why and how—and details five vital questions for Clinton.
Getting to the bottom of the Benghazi affair is important for many reasons: The families of the four men who were killed in Benghazi deserve the truth, as they were promised by the Obama administration over three years ago. Government accountability and personal responsibility matters.
So does making every possible effort to ensure the safety of U.S. diplomats sent overseas to do the nation’s business.
This country has missions, consulates and embassies all over the world, and we need to make sure we know what needs to be done to keep them safe and enable them to do their jobs.
That’s why we need to get to the full truth of what happened before, during and after the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi on Sept. 11, 2012, so we know how we can do to do better.
SINCE WHEN DOES ‘INCLUSION’ MEAN BANNING EVERYTHING?
Nowadays, daddy-daughter dances are politically incorrect, children in middle school are taught not to use gender-specific words and “inclusion” has been turned into a threat.
Author, blogger and mom Donna Carol Voss has a beautiful take on political correctness that calls for letting boys be boys and girls be girls—while neither alienating the exception nor censoring the rule.
Via The Blaze:
By all means, make room for the differences among girls and the differences among boys; but why erase the deep if unconscious satisfaction within girls and boys who happily identify with their gender assigned at birth?
In a Rhode Island school district, the ACLU used the complaint of one single mom—one—to shut down the time honored tradition of Daddy Daughter dances. The ACLU maintained that “in the 21st Century, public schools have no business fostering the notion that girls prefer to go to formal dances while boys prefer baseball games.”
Then the 21st Century is full of idiots. Who said anything about “fostering?” What about simply acknowledging the unavoidable—and beautiful—reality that boys and girls are different and prefer different things. That’s not discriminatory, it’s biology.
